At NESTEM we believe that being a good community member includes doing our part to make our community better. To help us accomplish this goal, students of the North East STEM Academy are required to complete a minimum of Twenty (20) hours of Community Service during the 2021 – 2022 School Year.
We will provide several opportunities during the school year for our students to participate in structured community service projects. These projects may happen here, on our campus at James Driver Park, or they may take place off site at a community event. Students also have the opportunity to find their own volunteer community service projects and can use those hours towards their goal.
