Let’s take a journey into Ms. Darden’s adventurous English language arts course. In this class students will be introduced to the English language 6th core curriculum. Together we will explore different texts and dissect them in ways to get the students ready for the STAAR testing at the end of the year. We will utilize foundational reading comprehension skills to read and analyze a fiction or nonfiction text of personal interest with annotations and short responses. I’m super excited for this journey that we are going to take together. Just know that we are in this together and as long as you give your best 100% of the time we WILL succeed together!
