Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year.  I’m a graduate of “The College of New York” and “Cornell University” respectively. During my 12 years of tenure at RYSS, I’ve taught a variety of Math courses ranging from 6^th grade to Pre-Calculus.  This year, I’ll be the teacher of record for Algebra I, Algebra II and Algebraic Reasoning.  In each of my classes, my primary objective will be to use Math as a tool to help students better understand and interpret the world in which they live.   In our increasingly technological economy, I will also strive to help students apply mathematics to their daily lives and future. Additionally, students will have significant opportunities to achieve success in their pursuit of being 21st century learners. The key to opening the door to these opportunities is a deep understanding of important mathematical skills and utilization of sound mathematical habits of mind.
