Juvenile Justice Diversion Program
The Juvenile Justice Diversion program, located at main RYSS campus, is a comprehensive, community-based program that is youth-centered and based on strengthening the family. Services consist of programs that are designed to stop a delinquent behavior, youth violence and drug and alcohol abuse while increasing self-esteem, self-confidence, and to build a positive character and respect for others.Services are aimed at preventing and diverting the number of minority youth who enter the juvenile justice system. The program serves 400 youth per month throughout the city. Students are referred to the program by the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department.-
