• Honor Roll Society

The Honor Society as Elite STEM Primary Academy is the Districts premier organization established to recognize outstanding students. More than just an honor roll, the honor society serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
To be selected to be a member students must be in grades 3rd – 5th and have all A’s and or all A’s and 2 Bs on their report card. The student then applies to become a member by completing the honor society application. The honor society sponsor reviews the application and selects the members. Selected students participate in an induction ceremony in which they agree to take on the responsibilities and the duties of a honor society member by accepting a pin that symbolizes commitment, dedication, strength, and courage. Students whose grades fall below honor roll requirements will be dismissed from the honor society.

The honor society participates in two major community service projects. During the first semester members of the honor society volunteer at the Best Christmas Ever annual event, create Christmas cards and sing Holiday songs to the Nueva Vida residents. During the second semester the members of the honor society visit Galveston, TX and help clean up the beach and throw away trash to ensure that our marine animals are not encountering trash that will make them sick inside the ocean.
The honor society holds a dinner at the end of the school year to recognize the students for being role models and campus leaders.
