Volunteer Requirements

RYSS Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS)

When students see their community actively investing in their education, they understand they are supported, valued, and encouraged to pursue their goals and dreams. At Raul Yzaguirre Schools for Success, we are proud to partner with dedicated parents and community members through our RYSS Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) program.

RYSS VIPS generously share their time, talents, and resources to support students and teachers across every campus. Whether serving as a mentor, tutor, guest speaker, fundraiser, chaperone, or classroom assistant, our volunteers make a meaningful difference each day.

VIPS also provides enrichment opportunities, hands-on technology support, and assistance in the library, clinic, office, or cafeteria. Volunteers play an important role in strengthening after-school programs, field trips, service projects, and extracurricular activities.

Together, we create a strong network of support that helps our students thrive. Join us and be part of the difference.
