Student Information
Welcome Students!
At RYSS, we provide the tools and support students need to thrive. From academic assistance and counseling services to college and career guidance, technology resources, and extracurricular opportunities, this page connects you to everything you need for success — in and beyond the classroom.
Attendance
Compulsory attendance applies to students who are at least six years old as of September 1 of the applicable school year. The law requires a student to attend public school until the student’s 19th birthday, unless the student is exempt under §25.086.
The law also applies to students below the age of 6 for compulsory attendance during any period that the student is voluntarily enrolled in prekindergarten or kindergarten.
Transcripts
If you are a graduate or former student of the Raul Yzaguirre School for Success, we are happy to assist you if you need your student records. To obtain transcripts or records, students must show a photo ID and sign a request form. Records are released only to the student if he/she is 18 years of age or older. Parents may request records if the student is not yet 18. You may send a request with an ID by fax, email, or mail.
Transcripts/health records will be mailed within three school days, once the completed record request is received, or you may pick up the transcript/health record between 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Registrar’s office.
