Conflict Disclosure
Under Texas HB 1491 (80th Regular Session) local government officers (superintendent and school board members) and are required to file a conflicts disclosure statement. If a school district maintains a website, the statements must be posted on the district’s website and maintained according to the school district’s local retention schedule. The Public Information Act and its exceptions apply to the information that will be posted.
