Michael
Michael didn’t always know what his future would look like, but he knew he wanted more.
Like many students, he faced challenges outside the classroom that could have made it harder to stay focused in school. But Michael didn’t have to navigate those challenges alone.
Through RYSS and Tejano Center, his family found support that went beyond academics.
Whether it was access to food resources, academic services, or guidance along the way, those supports created stability, giving Michael the space to focus on what mattered most: his education.
At RYSS, Michael discovered opportunities.
Through the Pharmacy TECH program, he earned college credits while still in high school and gained hands-on experience in the healthcare field. What once felt uncertain started to take shape into a clear path forward.
Today, Michael is working in a pharmacy while continuing his college education to become a pharmacist.
His journey is a reflection of what’s possible when students are supported in every part of their lives.
Because at RYSS, success is about graduating with purpose, direction, and the confidence to take the next step.
