At Raul Yzaguirre Schools for Success, we dedicate ourselves to effective and meaningful teaching and learning for all students in all classrooms. The Academic Services Department plays a pivotal role in this endeavor. It is our goal to support the district’s vision and educational initiatives through well-researched teaching methods, best-practices implementation, up-to-date instructional resources, and reliable measurement of student progress. Our department supports all RYSS campuses to ensure that students reach their full potential.  

The Academic Services Department provides leadership in curriculum and instruction, student assessment, professional development, and accountability in student achievement. Our staff works closely with campus administrators and faculty to develop the overall instructional program for RYSS as well as provide guidance on individual campus initiatives for specific needs of various student cohorts.
