Welcome to 7th Grade!!!

Hello, my name is Adriana Burguete, I have 20 years of experience in the teaching profession, working in several positions in Elementary and Middle School. For the last 9 years, I have been part of the BRYSS team as a 7th grade Reading teacher!

I’m so happy to welcome all my 6th and 7th grade students! This is going to be a busy year, filled with lots of fun and learning. I am very excited about all that we have planned for the upcoming year. I am thrilled to be your teacher, and I know this will be an awesome year! I look forward to getting to know you better over the course of the year.

This year we will be learning a ton of great material. One of my favorite things we will do are Literary Reading Circles, where we will discuss about the novels, such as Esperanza Rising, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, and The BFG. I would tell you more, but I don’t want to spoil all the fun!     

          I’m looking forward to a happy and productive school year. You are an awesome group of students!
