MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Raul Yzaguirre Schools Child Nutrition Services is to contribute to the students' learning experience by providing quality nutritious meals each school day to the district's students and faculty in accordance with the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) that also includes Breakfast and Lunch Programs. This ensures that the participating children gain a full understanding of the relationship between proper eating and wellness. In addition, the Child Nutrition Services department provides these children with learning experiences that will improve their eating habits. Our goal is to provide quality food on the serving line all the time, so from the first student we serve to the last, all have a positive school meal experience.
